Join us on a TQS exclusive 12-month journey into the land of childhood memory with a charming quilt designed especially for TQS by internationally-known Australian designer Lynette Anderson. Lynette combines simple, unpretentious folk art style appliqué motifs with patchwork blocks for a quilt that will be lots of fun to make. Each month we will provide photos, detailed directions for a portion of the quilt, and full-size patterns. We will once again be offering monthly companion teaching videos as well. It all makes for a year of fun and learning!

Andree you're brilliant that's so much better way of doing it. Thanks I'll just change some lines on my drawing. :)

I think your idea is brilliant... No "Y" seam! Well, if anyone is interested, I've drawn one without Y seam as well! :cheer:

Just PM me your personnal address.

Barb, your forget-me-not flowers are so sweet, I love them. I used to have them planted in a previous garden, and I enjoyed their bright blue eyes winking out at me. Nice memory!

I've drawn it out for foundation piecing. Here's the pics if it helps anyone to work out how to draw it, I'm not going to give the measurements for the piecing I know they're not accurate Andree is so good at it. Anyone brave enough to piece it as per original instructions in half size

They look so good Barb. You get to love hexagons even tiny ones after doing all these :)

I've not done June, July or August yet but I've got them drafted on paper. Go on Andree yours are so inspiring :)

Here's completed Month 3 Hearts and Flowers. I ordered 1/2" hexagons shapes online realizing after they arrived I needed 3/8" hexagon shapes instead. I cut them down to 3/8" per side and used. I really like my Forget Me Not flowers and red paper pieced heart!

I assembled the gate block today I should have taken up Andrea's offer of her 1/2 size paper pieced pattern, I was surprised it took most of the afternoon to assemble but I'm pleased with the outcome.
