:? To clarify my question about the top border. I am talking about where the applique goes on the top border.
Looks like there is about 1" of space top and bottom between the applique and the finished edge of the border.
Is that right? This will have to meet up with the side border applique.
Assuming the finished border is 8". Most of the instructions are great and others?

My cut border (with extra for applique shrinkage) is 82.5" as is the top of my quilt. However the paper pattern I taped together is 2.5" less in width than the border and quilt top. I don't' think machine applique would cause that much shrinkage.. so I guess I'll make sure I have plenty of extra vine to meet the side borders next month. Anyone else encounter this problem? Thanks.

:? The instructions are exact for the bottom border. What about the top border? Exactly where does it go on the 8.5" border.
There is some room to move it around but it has to connect to the side borders. I am enjoying this BOM.
