Hi cjyork,
Before you cut anymore blocks check your fractions on your pattern directions.. I had problems and so did others. That funny mark on your directions is supposed to be a fraction. You'll find it in several places.

Thanks for the help. I noticed that a change to the directions was posted yesterday. I also was using Foxfire. I changed to Chrome and was able to view and hear the video. All is now good. Once I recut my blocks, I will be able to finish up the lock. Again, thanks.

I personally think Internet Explorer has been hacked or is having issues. The sound button is missing from Youtube videos and the Youtube videos work fine in Google Chrome.

I am able to watch the video with sound from my PC using Google Chrome, and I can watch it on my Kindle Fire HD.

I cannot watch it at all using Firefox, and Internet Explorer cut out the sound. On the purple menu bar above, the HELP menu has some suggestions to try. My Firefox and IE may be my problems, as I rarely use them and may not have up to date Flash Player and up to date IE.

What are you using?

Thanks. My printer printed it as trim the unit to 2". There is a funny character there so I must have a misprint. Were you able to watch the video?

Trim to 2 1/2 inches as instructed on page 2 of month 5. Funny, I thought this block was Kansas Troubles, and I had nicknamed it Kansas Headache. This one takes real accuracy in trimming. I unstitched a bit here & there and had to really fiddle not to lose the points...my error, not the directions :)

I am unable to view the video for Month 5. When you trim the blocks for the 9 patch, do you actually trim down to 2"? I have trimmed to 2 1/4". If I trim further, I will cut off the points when sewing the blocks together.
