You could probably tear strips for the binding, but if you keep all your cuts of the patches to one long side of the fabric, you should have enough left for the binding. If you want to tear strips for the binding, tear 8 strips (across the 42/44" width of the fabric) a little over 2 1/2" wide. I use a double fold binding that is cut at 2 3/8", so leave a little room when tearing. You could also cut the strips, but I like to tear long strips because fabric tears straight. Hope that helps! :D

Hi, Janet. I notice the teal fabric #20 is listed for binding and for patches. Should we pre-cut a certain amount to set aside for the binding? Thanks!
