I guess I should have said there is also a small star pattern coming up in a couple blocks. That's why the large star is referred to as the "large" star.

No star pattern printed on my March directions. The instructions say "Applique the large star across the seam, 1" from the top raw edge." Is this "large" star the same size as the other two stars used in January and February?
Yes. You will use that same star pattern for a couple other blocks too.
