I'm not working on this quilt, but I thought I had seen mention in one of the forum posts that there are instructions to rip some lengths for a border before beginning your cutting. Maybe if you look for some ripping instructions that will help.

In the introduction packet there are fabric requirements mentioned for those of us using our own material. Hopefully you can get a good idea if you will have enough from that.

Margo, It's just that I'm using my own selection of fabrics so I would like to precut the border fabric before working on the blocks. My border is going to be the same fabric as the background in the blocks. I didn't want to come to the end and find I have to piece the border. Marie

I would like to know the measurement of the quilt top before the border is added, the width of the red sashing, the width of the blue border and the width of the black border. Thanks, Marie
