The Quilt Show presents A to Z for Ewe and Me, the latest quilt in prizewinning quilter Janet Stone's 26-quilt alphabet series. Designed exclusively for members of TQS, the 69"x 82" quilt is a playful yet sophisticated sampler. Each letter in the alphabet has its own panel, where it's combined with a related pieced or appliquéd block. Make one for the child in your life, or make one for the child in you!
No problem. I need to go back and reread some of the directions. I was surprised when watching the show that Janet was using the double blanket stitch around the letter 'f'. I somehow thought it was only the single. So first three letters are only got a single blanket stitch. I can switch for the rest.

I normally pre-wash my fabric before starting to quilt, is this recommended and if it is pre-washed will I still have enough fabric to finish the entire quilt?
