Janet this quilt is hard to resist.....I am still licking my wounds after last years BOM but I am intrigued and definitely downloading the instructions. But for now I am sitting on the fence....well it is only the 7th January.

I love your approach and haven't done a BOM since the "Star" with Sue several years ago. I really prefer doing some of my own design and altering, but think I'll go along (and make my changes as the whim strikes) as your 'letter' fettish is so engaging.

The stitch goes forward, backward, forward, left, right (or mirrored), so much I found on my 440 but was then interrupted before I found it on the 830. Another person wrote the number on the group

Lorna1021 OFFLINE Posts: 952 Thank you received: 105	In the instructions for the A block, it mentions the blanket stitch which is #46 on the Bernina 440. I know a blanket stitch on my 830. What is stitch #161 that is used for bias applique? I'll assume I have some equivalent stitch. I never realized a different stitch should be used if it was bias. Thanks, Lorna

I just added a few buttons, but I could have added a lot more "stuff", had it not been for the fact that the quilt was going to have to be a kit. But, I LOVE embellishments, and they would be great on this quilt!

janetstone OFFLINE Posts: 229 Thank you received: 25	I also just noticed that they have the set of three FG rulers and the HST ruler listed in the TQS shoppe, although it says they are not available at this time. Maybe they are on backorder, but they might be available at Bloc Loc.

janetstone OFFLINE Posts: 229 Thank you received: 25	Donna, I believe Bloc Loc sells the FG rulers based on finished sizes. The HST ruler I used was a 5 1/2" ruler, which can be used to cut HST up to 5 1/2". I think, somewhere along the way, it was listed at a 5" ruler. I apologize for the mistake.
