Have all my blocks fused and all except one stitched. I did the A with my machine but not thrilled with the look so I have decided to hand button hole stitch. Will post pictures when they are done and the sashing connecting them.

Hope to get my TQS BOM - 2013 back from the Long Arm quilter this weekend. Quilt show is in 3 weeks and I still have to do the piping, binding and siggy square. All parts are ready to go just need it back.

AndreeBergeron OFFLINE Posts: 722 Thank you received: 100	Good trick. I remember when I sewed silk fabric, and I did'nt want to have it "dryClean", the sales Lady told me exactly that: to add salt in the water, so it wouldn't fade, and add vinegar in the rinsing water to keep it "crisp". Andrée

Working from mostly my stash and using my regular rulers. Thanks for all the pictures too. I think I will be safe and just use plain black thread to do the appliqué. Might even do just a straight stitch. Using the knee lift is a big help. But for now piecing and fusing till I decide for sure. denise
