Sounds like a Lone Star put together with diamond pieces. I made one for my son's wedding, it came out great.

There are a lot of those star patterns around - Star of Bethlaham, Lone Star, Blazing Stars. The differences are mainly in the degree measurement on the diamonds used. Any idea which one you are looking for??

I am searching for antique quilt pattern for a star, it covered the entire middle of the bed, I saw the quilt in a plantation in South Carolina. It looked like the Star of Bethlehem....is anyone familiar with this pattern...thanks, Memepeggy
