We had a Annual CHALLENGE for our Guild's name tags. They are required to wear them or pay a fine to go to our speaker fund. New members are required to participate but a lot of older members also participate for the prizes.

Everyone was allowed to make the name tag of their choice using their favorite techniques.. ONLY REQUIREMENT WAS TO INCLUDE FIRST AND LAST NAME CLEARLY VIEWED ON THE FRONT OF THE NAME TAG. No size restrictions listed some made vest or jackets which they wear every meeting.

We found by allowing the members to design their own name tags showed creativity and their individuality shown through. We do have some competitive ladies. And the first prize for this challenge is usually enough fabric to make a quilt or gift certificate for the LQS. So far we have not had any duplicate winners.

Hello everyone! I'm looking for a pattern to make a name tag for our quilt guild. I have the embroidered front, but would like to make it into a purse type name tag, that you can hold credit card, etc. in it and wear it around your neck.

If you have a pattern, this would make this task a bit easier.
