I can email you a pdf that will show you how to paper piece the Ohio Star block. I don't have it posted on my web site or I'd just send you the link.

Let me know if you are still interested and send me your email address.

I found a 4" (see below) . You could do as Lorchen suggested and reduce it on a copy machine. However, this is a really simple block and it would be very easy to draft it yourself.

To be honest, I'd tell that sister 'No, do it yourself!', because nobody would get me to do a 3-inch Ohio Star, not matter what method.

But if you look on this as a wonderful challenge that you simply can't pass on, and you can't find a pattern, you can always take a pattern for a larger star and reduce it on a photocopier, or on the computer in a programme like 'photoshop'.

Does anyone have a paper pieced three inch Ohio Star block pattern or know where I can get one on the internet? My sister, the one who does not quilt but says "make that for me" found a quilt she wants with a few of the Ohio Star three inch blocks. I don't want to hand piece those. HELP!
