I had a 750. The only time I got a wobble stitch was when the needle was in the -1 or -2 position. All other positions worked perfectly. Unfortunately, I use the -1 position a lot and while the tech was able to make it better it never was perfect. I traded up to the 770 model and have never had a wobble in any position. I know this isn't a solution for everyone but if you can get a good trade up price, you may want to look at the 770 or 790. I would have loved to have the 790 but it was not in my price range.

Try a different dealer?

These machines cost a fortune and should work properly.

I bought my Bernina 750QE in May 2013 and I've had problems all along with a "wobbly" straight stitch and tension that I can't get to balance. I know there was an "improved" hook race cover produced in response to this, but my vendor said he'd never heard of it and insisted the wobbly straight stitch was inevitable with a rotary hook and the tension looked fine to him. Life got in the way of quilting for quite awhile but now I have more time and I'd sure like this machine to work correctly. Went back to the seller again and got the same story.

How many of you have or had a 750QE? Did you have this or other issues? Was it fixed so that works correctly? I'm heartsick about this - I already have an 820 that I use as a very large and expensive doorstop.

Thanks in advance.
