Congrats on the B700 it is one amazing machine. I absolutely live the machine except for the price. I went with Janome because of price i got the older TOL with mist features from the 790 and the B700 for less than B700

I am drooling over the new B590. But coming to Europe until next year. So I survive with a Artista 200 and 640

The Bernina software v7 is amazing. And wonderful a friend uses it and i used her's for a year. Was really looking at the new V8.

Again price played a big roll. Bernina V8 is €1449×and i got Hatch for $799 USD with a great many extras. And the only thing missing is the photo stitch from v8 and the corel.

But note about the software Bernina V8 Janome MBX and Wilcom Hatch only integrate with Corel essential v6. And they are up to v8. So i usually use Adobe Illustrator because i have used it for years.

But the 700 is simply amazing.

There is a group on Facebook called Bernina Lovers and a Bernina forum on sew.patterbreview.com that can offer wonderful assistance

Hello,
I have recently bought the Bernina 700 embroidery only machine and I have to say that it is fantastic.
I use Bernina V7 software but have to admit that I am a novice at the moment. So much to learn!
The new B700 has many advantages for me, the main one being that you don't have to cut the threads between each section anymore. The machine cuts and buries the threads for you. A real time saver and professional finish.
Another feature is the pin point placement feature which is excellent and easy to do.
As always the quality is second to none, even though I realize it is expensive, I do believe that you get what you pay for.
In Australia we also get amazing back up and assistance, so all in all I am a very happy bunny!
Happy Sewing and a Very Merry Christmas to all.

No. Did not get a B700. Ended up with a Janome MC12000 which has bigger embroidery field.

I looked at a Ricoma 12 needle but was too loud for my apartment

Also got Hatch. The only thing different is Hatch does not have Corel Essential 6 and Photo Stitch

I really like Hatch.

I realize this is an old post, but just curious if you bought one? I’ve seen a couple of your other posts -there aren’t many of us who digitize with Bernina software was hoping to compare notes on V8 sometime. I use V7 but leaning towards Hatch.

I have an 820 for sewing/quilting but jumped from my 200E to a Melco 12 needle because I needed the memory for my custom design files, support and got fed up with using a single needle. I LOVE the multi needle and buying used -the price was same as new B700.

Thanks. Oh i have used the simulator. It was a beauty. Last week went to a huge Sewing Trade Show in Germany. Spent a good hour with a senior embroidery expert from Bernina Switzerland

Wow I am so so impressed

The B700 has been released here in Europe. But i have not found a dealer with one in stock. You can order one takes 2 weeks.

But I really want to sit down and use it for a good amount of time. €4,000 is expensive. IMO

The Bernina 700 has not been released in Australia as yet, however, I have downloaded the simulator which you can play on and see how to navigate the machine. I would suggest that you also do this.
Happy sewing.

I currently use a older Husqvarna Topaz 30 and Bernina 165e for embroidery

Have been thinking of upgrading the Husqvarna. I saw the new B700 demoed. But could get get close. Has anyone really looked, used or own this machine.

Really want to know the good and bad
