Thanks for that Marianne the Bernina Yahoo group sounds good to me and will be a good way to spend some time on a wet afternoon in North Wales.

Hi Sue,
The snap adapter from Bernina does not take all snap-on feet so before you invest check it with your Bernina dealer.
I use my Husqvarna/Viking feet on my Bernina using an adapter shank from Bernina (#75) and screw the Husqvarna shank on to this. Perhaps you can do something similar with the Janome.
There is a really good Bernina Yahoo group I belong to - you could try asking there for specific Janome answer.

Does anyone out there know anything about the Bernina clip on Shank, I have Bernina Auroa 440QE but would like to use my Janome 1/4 inch snap on foot which I Love on my Nina would this allow me to do this , I know I can get Patchwork food 57 with guide for my Bernina but I just like my Janome one, any help would be gratefully received I have been going dizzy trying to find the answer to this one on the internet.
