I also have an 820. Ive had mine for several years now and haven't had any problems with the light. I would assume there is a faulty connection in hers. Sounds like it needs a trip to the tech, and before it turns a year old! Best of luck!

My friend and I have a Bernina 820QE, both under one year old. My friend has just contacted me to say that her machine lighting under the arm is flashing constantly. This has never happened to me. Does anyone have any ideas of what this means???
