e-sewing file - Great idea Renata, Lotti and BJ, I'd better start one myself.

By the way, what a beautiful embroidery BJ, love it! I actually have a bracelet like tattoo in my left upper arm with a green dragon on the outer part of the arm (towards the back) a ying/yang center of a sun in the center and a red phoenix to the right of the sun, towards the inner side of the arm. I'd love to know more about the tale you're depicting in this quilt. And thank you for sharing how you're making this quilt possible. Best of luck in the challenge! :D

I am wondering the same thing about me...why did I not have an electronic sewing file before now. I did get a little fancy on mine...I put it in Excel Spreadsheet and have two columns''one is where I copy in the ideas, and one has a simple subject category, so I can sort them into categories once the file gets kinda long. I should have done this years ago.

It's been copied and now the first post in my newly generated quilt dictionary...
Bet it won't have just one post for very long with all the great tips we get on this forum...
Now to go and find all the stuff I thought: this is great info, must remember this.... Duhhhh, why did it take me so long to set up a simple word file to copy it all into?

I'm pleased you got the metallic thread tension all sorted out--no sense you reinventing the wheel! You have always been so gracious in sharing what you learn as you play through your blog and on the Forum and it benefits many of us, especially those who use the same machine as you do. My remembering was a small thing; you had already done all the heavy lifting in determining the thread tension. Show us pictures, please, when you can!
