For mine I just used my regular sewing table that was custom made along the lines of the Koala and such. My hubbie cut out the hole larger to accommodate the girl. Then I just used the slide on top to cover the hole it sits in. While not entirely flush it fits snugly against the table top with just a slight lift at the slide on cover. Works great for me. I don't notice the difference between it being flush as the difference is so small. Enjoy her, I love mine.
Welcome to the 830 club! My friend & I call ours BB or Big Bertha. She has hers housed in one of those fancy cabinets that you tend to purchase in America. I bought an 8 ft. table to house BB. That gives me plenty of room for the embroidery module & my laptop & printer too. Truly I think it depends on whether you like to have your machine flush with the table or are comfortable sewing elevated. One thing you will need, a really good sewing chair. You will love your Big Girl! Enjoy!

I will be acquiring an 830 soon and realize that I will need to rearrange the Studio to accommodate the Big Girl Machine!(Yes, she was named years ago!)
The thing is I don't know the space she needs to operate optimally.
Can anyone fill me in?
Glad you asked this. I am planning the same thing later this year and have no idea how big the table for the 830 is. I haven't named mine yet.
