Yes I'm really pleased with my machine.I work in a sewing machine shop that sells all makes and while I have had a Janome for twelve years I have always wanted a Bernina. In my opinion(unbiased-lol) they really are the best. I now feel I am part of the club!

Congrats on your new baby! I love my 450. Having the 9mm opening was a definite deciding factor for me. It does a beautiful job with embroidery also and, should you ever decide to add the BSR, isn't it nice that you have that option?

I just wanted to share my news, I am now the pround owner of a Bernina Aurora 450. It took me a while to choose between the 450 and the 440 but I don't need the bsr so the 9mm stitch width was the decider. :D
