I found I need to set my top tension on "0" to get a good stitch. Made a big difference in stitch quality.

Hi Mary Kay
There's a whole bunch on this...search for BSR, it's under the Bernina forum section.

Tension with the BSR 09 Jan 2010 19:40 #42304

I am really unhappy with the tension I am finding while using the BSR - the thread on the back of the quilt is ending up "flat" and not traveling far enough to the front of the quilt to result in "good" stitches on the back. I have adjusted the thread tension setting to no avail.

Any advice????

Thanks for your help!

Mary Kay
