I am learning to FMQ and was told if I got out my old Bernina 830 from 1972, I could use it. However, it may be that I do need to buy a foot for this.

Anybody out there conversant in Bernina feet and older machines? Can I use the darning foot that came with it? It doesn't seem to have a number on it.

Wow! I had forgotten how much this machine is built to withstand WW2! I'm so happy I still have it! :D :D :D

I love my year old Janome 6600 for lots of my sewing, but it will be nice to have them both set up!
