I sought out Lorchen yesterday, she's keen to get back on the forum when it's updated this year. I'll find her Sunday as well if you've any messages for her

Me too. I'm keeping it very minimalist for now. Just a couple of colors, no pictures or anything. Once I'm more comfortable, I'll venture into that. Amazon has stencils for bullet journals.

I don't think it matters. On my birthday it was a day of recording memories and yesterday I just recorded moments from my day at The Festival of Quilts and fun meeting friends. Plenty of other days for tasks. Sunday I'm stewarding so it's useful for jotting things to remember.

We probably have to use it 100 times to make it a habit. I love my bullet journal.

I totally forgot to set up my day yesterday! According to BulletJournal.com, I just did yesterday as a journal entry instead of a to do list. I think I'm back on track today. Anyone else have any glitches this week?

Did you notice squares on a line in Luann's video, I didn't notice what they were for but that would make a great list for quilts. If you can draw neatly

Thanks for the links Eileen and Luann, I hadn't come across those 2. Both interesting and useful and kept me out of trouble for a while. Daren't look at pages on Pinterest I'd be gone for hours.

Terry your experience with the planner will help when we set up quilting collections :)

I just spent several hours going down that rabbit hole! It was a very enjoyable trip, and I’m liking her approach— you have to do what’s right for you!

Thanks for the link, Eileen.

I was directed to this article/blog on FB: www.thelazygeniuscollective.com/blog/how-to-bullet-journal I found it very interesting.
LuAnn, that video is awe inspiring, but it's also very intimidating  Right now, I'm going to keep mine pretty minimalist.
Hope everyone's having a great Sunday! :)

This is an awe inspiring video. I wish I was so talented as she is. I’m going to use a bit of her spreads for daily art practice!

Well. . .I started a bullet journal too! I wasn't going to do it; but, then I thought. . .why not give it a try? I'm thinking that I will be able to greatly reduce the size of my planner while having organized spots for my "collections!" I'm starting slow--working on the daily mainly. But, I did make a "habit" collection. This is the space where I list the tasks I want to do each day. I also think I will get into using some color too. . .but, for now I'm going with blue ball point ink pen! I'm also thinking about what I might want to include later. I loved Wendy's suggestion to Luann about the jelly roll race chart!
