As you probably know by now Bernina have brought out their own ruler foot (72). It works with the high shank Westside rulers.

I’ve read that you shouldn’t use a Westalee quilting foot on a Bernina 710. I didn’t understand why not it was something to do with lowering the needle before the presser foot but the 710 automatically lowers the foot. I’d be grateful if someone could help with some information.
