Looking for your advanced advice on hand applique' points/corners.
I've watched shows 1912 with the apliquick tools, have the 2 point things, and show 1701 on making the sharp point on a leaf. I need tips on the inner corner of an inner corner of a leaf to branch sort of piece. I'll attach a photo. (arch to oval)
I started with 2 layers of freezer paper (reverse pattern) and have it on the wrong side of the fabric and have pressed the seam allowances around as much as I can. I will remove the freezer paper of course before stitching. Now what?!!
I've thought of marking the right side with a fine chalk pencil and attempting to turn as much as I can as I go. But how much into that corner can I go? The Impossible Dream?
This light green is a large oval with these leaves and it is cumbersome to work with, I'm not wanting to lose the shape as I work so have wanted to leave the freezer paper on as long as possible.
Your next step would be....
{Got a bit caught up here... We had a super busy Thanksgiving but wonderful with extra days with both adult kiddos, that took some recovery time, finished customer work for Christmas, I've been drowning in end of year bookkeeping, several doctor's appts, and this is my only month to quilt for me for this whole year so I'm trying to get a lot of things enjoyed.
