I think the post count is current so if you go back to old posts it will still show your current count.

I have been looking through my posts and went back as far as November 2014 and it said I had made 798 posts, although I have made many more since then it still say's 798 posts. Just how many have I made? or am I looking at this the wrong way?
It's not that important but I just wondered !!!!
