Blanche Young did make a lot of big quilts. She was an amazing woman. I have some of her books. She also came to our guild 10 or so years ago in her eighties, brought suitcases of quilts. All wonderful. I love her trip around the world variations. I was sad to read of her passing. I know that she lived a good long life, passed her quilting knowledge to many of us but most especially to her daughter who co-wrote some of her books with her. Kathy
