I finally have a day to sew. I plan to get the 9 blocks pieced for a baby quilt. IDK what sort of border on 2 or 4 edges I'll do yet. I also have 2 blocks to make for the guild challenge and we meet Monday night. Neither are a big deal.

I plan to enter 2 quilts in the AQS DM fall show and that deadline is tomorrow! One is an orginal and one by a pattern so I just go permission to enter the pattern one from the designer's "person". Yeah! Mostly just fill in the forms but I also am going to try for better photos. IDK where my special lights are. ??? Have black curtain wall, tripod, camera, tips. I know I have special lights. Just not found them yet. I'm sure I'm the only one like this!

And I've been reading things online instead. Amazing time-eater.....

Thank you all for your prayers! Wednesday was a really long day for us! DH's scheduled out-patient surgery was for 2:00 PM, but he didn't get wheeled into surgery until around 6:30 PM!!! Surgery was about an hour, then there was a additive to the body that had to remain for two hours before being flushed out. Kept him slightly sedated for that process. Anyway, they decided to keep him overnight, since it was getting so late. I picked him up around noon yesterday. He is in pain, and he is uncomfortable. And, of course, with all of the pain meds, there is another problem. Won't go into detail on that one.

We're hanging in there. Thanks again!

Dorothy, your Alice quilt looks like a fun one for you. I forgot to mention in my last post, that whenever you head up to Kalispell this summer, give me a call (did I give you my number?) and we could meet.

Yes, Joyce, it is a hummingbird. It is a fire throated hummer, found only in Costa Rica, supposedly. There are so many different colors on them. They are beautiful!
