Marilyn, life has been getting in the way so I have had to put the focus elsewhere. I have been making some quilts but not as much as I would like. I finished my 'inspired by Libby quilt' but found out that it was 1/2" short of the required size for Birmingham Festival of Quilts, which was a bit of a bummer. It now graces the wall in my dining room and is really very nice.

Then I finished making a scrap quilt which is now a spare for a guest bed.

I also completed a crazy quilt which involved stitching scraps onto a 5" foundation fabric, joining squares together in groups of 4 and sashing with white fabric and alternating red and blue cornerstones. That one went to a cousin.

I am now working away on Wedding Quilt No 2 for my niece who is getting married in mid December. I still have quite a way to go with this one but I am getting there slowly but surely. This is how it looks so far. The centre medallion is from Sue Garman's 'Ruffled Roses' quilt here on TQS in 2011(?). My niece loves purple and pink, so that's what she is getting!

I am also working away on the BOM slowly but surely and I will post photos of that in that thread sometime soon. Not liking the instructions and definitely gave up on the half-size measurements because it was just too small for me.

So not as productive as I would like to be but enough to be getting on with don't you think? :cheer:

Nancy, I am so happy for you. I saw "Tea for Two" in person (at Springfield, Il I think). It is beautiful. Wish I could be at Houston with you and the gang, but not possible this year. Maybe someday...

Nancy, I am so excited for you--congratulations!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: Your work was award winning when I got in the mail and saw (was completely gobsmacked by) your Chinese Whispers quilt quite a while back so it was no surprise to me that you are celebrating Tea For Two at Houston, along with all of the special meaning it carries for you!
