Glad it worked out for you, Wendy. I had no advice because my Bernina 830 has a different type of bobbin system than your machine, but I was "panicking" for you, nevertheless!

Oh dear, but panic over I pickled it with a pin and a tiny bit of red thread came out now I'm trying to get it right again. Phew.

You have the direction right - righty tighty, lefty loosey. Unfortunately, if that's not working then you might have a stripped tension screw. I'm guessing you'll need a new bobbin case, but maybe someone else will have better advice for you.

This one has me beat. My lower tension was loose so I checked which way to turn the screw to tighten it and moved the screw clockwise. It's not worked so I moved it more and and the thread still runs easily through the bobbin holder when tested. Any ideas? I've cleaned it and can't see any trapped thread and tried different threads.
Thanks for any tips
