Ladies (and Gentlemen),
I need your help. My dear husband is asking what I want for my upcoming birthday (my age will not be mentioned here as I am old enough to dislike birthdays, but young enough to receive "just you wait" lectures from my coworkers on a daily basis) and unfortunately a new sewing machine or long arm is just too expensive to ask for
I would like to find an "ultimate reference guide" for quilt blocks and or quilt history. I thoroughly enjoy movies like "Why Quilts Matter" or "Stitched" and would really like a reference book along these lines. I don't necessarily want a pattern book, but something for inspiration that is also informative. I was considering Jinny Beyer's "Quilter's Album of Patchwork Patterns" but I wanted to see if there were any other suggestions out there. Any thoughts and ideas would be welcome!
