Hi Bluebird,
Glad to see you back on the Forum. Ask all the quilting questions you want.

I copied the following from the Quilters Dream website:
"Quilters Dream Cotton Batting comes in request, select, deluxe and supreme lofts in these sizes:
Craft 46" x 36"
Crib 46" x 60"
Throw 60" x 60"
Twin 93" x 72"
Double 96" x 93"
Queen 108" x 93"
Super Queen 93" x 121"
King 122" x 122"

Since you are using Quilter's Dream Cotton, you would want the quilt top for a queen size quilt to be at least a few inches smaller on all sides than 108 x 93.

Happy quilting,
Judith

I don't think that batting sizes are standard across manufacturers. They all seem to vary by a couple of inches. The safest thing to do would be to purchase your batting now and check the package for the dimensions. If you can't purchase the batting yet, then I would check their web site for sizes.

Does anyone know what size batting (I only would be using Quilters Dream 100% cotton) would be appropriate for my queen-sized quilt that I am currently working on? I am not sure how big to make it, but don't want to make it so big that the batting won't be large enough. What are the standard dimensions of batting? :(
