Can anyone remember what show#, who it was and the tip she demonstrated to Ricky where she was sewing seams on hexagonal blocks (not small hexies) and she , I think, made the seam longer then you would normally stop sewing, then the stitches were later easily removed from the end? I tried this and it worked great but want to "refresh" my mind on doing this correctly as I have a UFO to get back to work on and that "tip" was excellent and worked great!
