PosyP OFFLINE Posts: 4106 Thank you received: 361	Actually it goes really quickly. I have the design marked out on graph paper, make up strip sets of the colours so that they are 1/2" strips. Then stitch on the line from the back, press, fold the paper back and then use my add an 1/8" ruler (homemade) to cut. I have done about half of one of these triangles in and afternoon & evening. Wendy, who would you suggest for machine silk thread?

It will make for an interesting quilting design on the back which mirrors the zigzag shape on the front. Really well done, I don't know where you get the patience.

But in this case I took a design (the embroidery) and made it larger to piece it. Even so it will be finishing at about 11" square, so I suppose it is a miniature, and will certainly be going into that category.

Feeling a little bit excited here. I finished 3/4 of my latest little quilt. I am calling it Maxiature, because it cannot be a miniature since the original is only 2 3/4" square

I reckon that I could get this one finished in time to enter it into FoQ this year. If only I could work out how to quilt it and I am NOT going to ESS it, Uh-huh - not happening, not even remotely!
PS. the squares on the cutting mat are centimetres not inches.

Now onwards with the last quarter
