Beautiful quilts, Sharyn! I love your color combinations!

I follow Bonnie's blog and plan to do this year's mystery, time permitting. She comes up with the coolest quilts! I was going to try to pick my own colors, but I love the colors she chose so much that I'm just going to go along with her. My quilt won't be very original, but I'm sure it'll be lovely (if/when it gets made)!!

I'll try another photo then,
roll roll cotton boll, I love this color combo

When the terrible tsunami hit Japan I did another cotton boll, twin size in fabrics that seems to say tsunami...

Here's my version of Bonnie's mystery quilt last year - Celtic Solstice. I would show you my hexagon quilt but all the photos are on a hard-drive as I just changed computers. I will have to take a new photo and post it.

Adding an attachment is so much quicker and easier than on the old site. :P
Shame it hasn't worked this time around :(

I've not heard of Dr Annette Gero, nor have I looked into antique Australian quilts and covers. I tend to concentrate on British history & historical needlework pieces. Will have to go & look it up when I get a minute. Although I did see the Raj Coverlet when it was at the V&A in 2010 - another amazing piece.

OOoooOOO that looks like a blast to make Rosemary.
Quilting has been my abiding passion for 40+ years. What I do now is make complicated quilts very slowly...
Are you familiar with Dr Annette Gero's book on antique Australian quilts and covers?
It is expensive but worth every penny.

thanks for the response, Sharyn
Looking at your signature...I am the self proclaimed world's worst embroideryer...so the forum is now balanced :)
