I am going to start the machine embroidery of this pattern in a couple weeks so I can get it all done by Christmas. Are you referring to the border shown on page 4 of the directions with the pieced stars on each end? I don't have an answer for you, but am glad for the heads up to pay attention to that border. If no one has a reply for you beforehand, I will post what I run in to.

I am making the "Snowman Collector" quilt by Lydia Howell. I am having a hard time with the second border on the blocks - the first inch border works out fine with the measurements but the second two inch border doesn't seem to match the measurements given and if I cut the border the size given in the pattern it won't fit the block. Has anyone made this and tell me what I am doing wrong??
