Love bamboo batting. Even very good for hand quilting.

Just FYI - I love bamboo batting for lap quilts because it makes the quilts warm and cozy, without being too heavy. Also, they are super soft.

Depends on the size of the lap! :lol: I usually make my lap quilts around 50"x60" but you would probably want something bigger for someone who is taller. And the size of mine vary because they are really driven by what just looks right for the blocks I'm making.
