You can also go to http://www.google.com. On Menu Bar, click Images.

In Search box, enter "cabin windows" without the quotes. You will see many sample windows that will trigger your creativity. Doing this will also give you ideas of additional search terms to use.

You could arrange one of the curtains in a downstairs room, then go out side with your camera and take some photographs. This will give you a picture of how it looks and something to work from to adapt for your quilt.

creating window panes for art quilt 16 May 2012 17:11 #80770

I am new to quilting but not new to sewing. I recently joined our local quilt chapter. This year's challenge
was to make an art quilt. Well, I just jumped right in . I found a picture of a local Cajan Cabin that I want
to enter in our contest/challenge. I am stuck!!! Everything looks good, but I do not know how to make
a window pane with cutrains. Can someone help. The background for the inside is black with
curtain in corners.. Thanks for your help.Barbie
