I had to try 3 or4 different word combinations to find the right one. Foundation was the key word for this technique.

I must look these up myself as its interesting to note that sometimes you can be doing something one way and not know there is a better way..........lol lol lol

Here is a tutorial on the net. for freezer paper foundation piecing. I have done it this way and really like it. I think there is another one where you sew without thread to perforate the fold line.
