Thanks Margo, when I finish the quilting, I will try this. My goal this year is to finish at least two of the many quilts I have started. If the ink doesn't come out, it will still be well loved if not a prize winning quilt!

My best advice would be to soak the fabric in cool water, with NO DETERGENT, over night if necessary to see if the blue pen marks disappear.
If heat has set the marks, you may have to live with them. :(

About 8 years ago, I started handquilting a quilt. I used a blue washout with cold water marking pen to mark the quilt. Life and many quilts later I found this quilt in the back of a closet. Blue marks are still there. I tried spraying with cold water, but they are still there. Any suggestions for removing these marks would be GREATLY APPRECIATED. :(
