Search on Youtube for confetti1, confetti2, and confetti3 for Noriko Endo's Simply Quilts show, broken up into 3 parts.

I just saw the first one under Marilyn's link, then the third showed up, so there must have been a 2, right?

She shreds her fabric with a rotary cutter first and makes a palette. Doesn't look easy to me.

She did Marilyn!!! http://www.hgtv.com/simply-quilts/snippet-sensations/index.html Unfortunately the video is no longer available - the link takes you to a page with the description of the show only. On her website she only has the books. :D

Cindy Walters is the name of the original "snippets" lady. Try her site. She's doing different things now. I'm
thinking she did that on a Simply Quilts ages ago !

Thanks Rita! That's the video that I remember and now I see why I can't find it in the TQS archives!

I recall something with Norino Endo - Confetti quilting. It was around the time of her exhibition in New York but maybe it was just in the daily blog. I found this on youtube though. There is a Confetti 1, Confetti 2 and Confetti 3 - and it's our very own Alex on Simply Quilts.

Has she been a guest Margo?

I think that she has been mentioned in a couple of Daily Blogs, but not as a guest for a whole episode. Does anyone else have a memory of an episode with Noriko?

I think David Taylor used the technique. May be worth checking his website. :D

David Taylor does not use fusibles or netting. His stuff is all needle-turned!!

I did not rewatch the shows that Lotti listed, but the term "snippets" comes to mind. There was a lady teaching a Snippets class in Houston one year, and I think she was on a TQS episode. I believe the reason she used tweezers to place the snippets onto the fabric, was that it had a bonding agent on one side, like Light Steam-A-Seam 2 and so could just be ironed on, once the design was to your liking. I hope you eventually find the technique you are looking for! Good luck!
