Does anyone know how large Gail's painted quilt is? It looked small in one of the pictures. But there is so much detail in it I thought it would be large. Hope someone knows. Jan

I ordered some (okay -- many bottles) of paint today. Jackie (the owner) was extremely nice to such a newbie (that'd be me).

I can hardly wait to try it. She was describing how I can get the effect I want (transparency) on my 'lady' quilt. I've decided that the words will be done in the paint. I want it to be transparent so it doesn't distract from the quilt but once someone realizes that there are words, it will hopefully "draw them in" to find more words! :D

The quilt with Alex as a little girl sewing with her sister and grandmother is exquisite. I was wondering what type of paint she used. Anybody know??? Dr. Jan
