HelenW, this was one of them, and it was pretty okay. Looks like you fixed it. The other two were on my Memories of the Ranch quilt; the center and right photos just below the large quilt photo. They were more critical to me to be upright.

mzdetail, I can't go in and change anything in that area of the website, but I can take a screen shot of your pictures and rotate them on my computer and then put therm here.
What a fabulous quilt. I just love it. Maybe you can ask Barbara Black if there is any way to take these and insert them in your gallery. HelenW

I don't know the secret to getting photos straight instead of sideways. John Anderson has been trying to figure it out too. Someone wrote that it was due to how the photo was taken, portrait or landscape, and if you rotated them on your device first that might prevent the sideways thing. Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

At this time the new website is just around the corner and being able to post photos there will be easier. So I am not worrying about it, I just turn my head to look. I could save photos posted here to my computer then edit them but don't see any need to do that.

Thank goodness HelenW is able to put us all right side up in the Graduation photo!

mzdetail I feel your pain. my pictures with great inconsistency go sideways and after many attempts at putting them upright all fail. Helen has a interesting approach, but the screen shot didn't help me.
I wish there was some method to the madness. I've watched the video a dozen times but it doesn't really address the issue of uprights going sideways.

We should wait for Barbara Black to respond to you. I was just saying what I do when I need to get a sideways picture to be upright. My guess is there is a real solution. Barbara Black looks at the forum several times a day, so you probably won't have to wait long for a response. I would love to see the picture can you take a screen shot and put it here in the forum. HelenW

I just typed mzdetail gallery in the search and you came up. Is this the quilt?

Has anyone been successful at fixing gallery photos that are sideways? I have three that I've loaded right side up, but they appear sideways, and I'm unable to turn them in Edit.
I've mentioned this to Alex, but it has not been corrected over a long period of time.
Mzdetail When face photos are sideways, I take a screen shot of it. Then double click the screenshot to see it in preview. Then I rotate it 3 times and it will be upright. Then I upload that to the forum and it comes in correctly. It is a work around, but has worked for the class photo pictures. The rotation icon is the 3 thing from the right. HelenW
