This time Ol' Saint Nick is bringing quite a gift from Bernina, special financing for 48 months. Yes, that's 4 years! But you have to act fast. It's one day only, Saturday, December 18. You'll need to visit your participating Bernina dealer for details. If you or your loved one has been wanting a new machine, this is the time. Head on over to Bernina and put a smile on someone's face this holiday season.
Recently I have just been creativily "stopped" - It is amazing how much time a person can spend on facebook LOL! I called my good friend Jean Wells and asked how do I get started back up again....and with a small assignment she handed me back my creative key - Thanks Jean! Has this ever happen to you and what did you do to get over that ugly hump?

Let's take a walk through an enchanted garden at the Houston International Quilt Festival. This wonderful exhibit was created in memory of Helen Pearce O'Bryant, the late mother of Quilts, Inc. Executive Vice President Nancy O'Bryant. In Full Bloom celebrates the flowers which have motivated artists and gardeners for hundreds of years. This is just a small portion of the exhibit. Look for more flowers in the future.

Ok. This is our last and easiest hint! Our TQS 2010 Legend was the founder and served as President of the Board of Directors of Studio Art Quilt Associates. You should be able to guess who it is by now. Only a few more days until you can watch this incredible show!!
We all know that you guys are quilters. After all, that's probably why you are reading this right now. But what else do you like to do? It seems that most quilters have more than one hobby, whether it is cooking, gardening, or knitting, they always have something else going on and it usually involves creativity.
For example, mkdquilts, had a photograph, not a quilt, at the Houston International Quilt Festival as part of the "Eye of the Quilter" exhibit.

Our TQS 2010 Legend began with wearable art garments. This quilting pioneer has only ever used three blocks in her colorful and museum quality works! Do you know who it is?
The holiday season is upon us and selecting gifts is one of our top priorities. What shall I get them? Will they like it? Should I make them something?
TQS wants to know, are you a maker or a buyer? Do you rush out to your local mall for a beautiful cashmere sweater, or do you rush to the craft mart and purchase yarn to make a beautiful sweater?
Submit a comment and let us know.
(If you'd like to purchase this sweater from whitehillrose, click here...it's homemade.)
