Quilt artist and author Gyleen Fitzgerald shares some of her quilts with TQS.  You can watch Gyleen in Episode 1403: Build Beautiful Quilts with Butterfly Seams, where she shares some of her latest work, and offers many ingenious and practical ideas for sewing and pressing.

Gyleen can also be seen in Episode 909: Techniques, Tips...and Turning "Trash" into "Treasure" where she demonstrates stitching the "Grandmother's Flower Garden" block by machine using the "butterfly seam," shows how the same technique can be used for sewing a typical Y-seam; and demonstrates how to make a colorful "trash to treasure" Pineapple block using her pineapple ruler and lots of fabric scraps.

Jeffrey Frey stopped by the TQS booth at Road to California to ask us for feedback on his product.  So, we thought we'd ask you what you think about it.  It is called the Artistic Hanging Solution™ and is a method for hanging your quilt that doesn't require a sleeve, or more than one person, to help you hang the quilt.  You can also select the moulding to compliment the interior design space in which you are hanging the quilt.
