Sometimes it's the little things that make for a good show.  Take a look at Ricky ironing our one-of-a-kind tablecloth.  Ricky created the fabric that contains the names of every guest we've ever had on the show and Lilo put it together for our demo table.  Have you ever made your own fabric?

If you have fast internet,  you can watch the shows in "HD". That means "High Definition" and you need good internet to make it happen. When you watch in HD format, the shows are TV quality. You can put it on "full screen" or on your big screen and get a beautiful picture. We started making HD shows with show 1401. So any show after that is HD (close captioning started with show 1407).

YOU MUST TURN HD ON! The shows default to regular definition because of all the rural and satellite customers. So to get HD, click on the HD icon in the lower right of the player. It will turn blue and start projecting in a higher resolution. Give it a try on the current show. Remember, you can also let the show buffer in for about 10 minutes and then even slower internet may work.

Do you take care of your sewing machine? A little bit of preventative maintenance, like that shown in this video for the BERNINA 750, will keep you stitching on the right path. These types of videos are easy to find, just head over to YouTube and type in sewing machine maintenance in the search box, you'll find all kinds of information... just make sure it applies to your machine.

Here is The Coffee Break by Leslie T. Jenison.

Artist Statement:

The Coffee Break refers to a long-running email conversation with my friend and teaching partner, Jamie Fingal. When I see “coffee break” in the subject line, I know to get my cuppa and put my feet up, because it will be a long conversation in print. We discuss business items, personal issues…you name it; the coffee break has been a long-running habit which is often more of a lifeline.

Star Members can watch Leslie in Episode Episode 1510: Screen-Printing Serendipity debuting on Monday, November 10, 2014.

Alex and Ricky are on the set with artist, author, and educator Leslie T.
