It's almost time for International Quilting Days, coming March 20-22, 2015 to TQS.  This year's sponsors are contributing some great prizes, including the Grand Prize, a BERNINA 550 QE.  From our friends at Innova, one lucky winner will have the opportunity to have a quilt of his or her choice machine quilted (a $500 value).

Keep your eyes open for more information and to learn about more prizes. Don't forget that TQS is the place to be March 20-22, 2015!

You never know what you might find when you're poking around in the TQS Forum.  Alex found this in Tips and Discoveries.  All you need are  two curtain rods, a cookie sheet, some super glue and viola! A tray for your longarm.  Have you visited the TQS Forum yet?

This week's project is for that tea drinker in your life.  Along with a hand-sewn heart tea bag, why not include a little treat to make the moment even sweeter?

Frustrated by traditional appliqué methods?  Check out the amazing Apliquick tools recommended by Lynette Anderson (Episode 1601).  These surgical steel tools will take your method from frustrating to fantastic.

The Apliquick Tools will simplify your glue stick appliqué.  Each packet comes with two tools.  Hold one in your left hand to hold fabric in place.  With the other tool you simply hold your fabric as you turn it to the wrong side and press it in place.  Check out the video to see how this tool will change your life!

It's time to begin work on the hedgerows.  Join 2015 BOM designer Lynette Anderson as she guides you along this journey back through her childhood.  "Wonderful wildflowers grew tangled in the hedgerows.  My grandmother taught me all their names when I was little.  This month’s appliqué represents the glorious flowers I remember from my childhood days.  I arranged the bias stems, flowers, and leaves with the simple spontaneity and joy of a child’s drawing."
