The 21st European Patchwork Meeting will be held September 16-19, 2015, Ste Maire-aux-Mines, Alsace, France. More than 1200 works from world-renowed artists will be exhibited during the event.

Traditionally one European and one extra country are invited to present the works of their quilters.  This year those countries are Austria (Textiles Impressions from Austria) and South Korea (Bounce Bounce Korea Quilt).  Also on exhibit will be 2013 Quilt National, SAQA: Redirecting the Ordinary, Log Cabin: Between Traditional and Modernity, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and The Best of QuiltCon 2015.  Solo exhibitions include From Pairs to Paris and Some Others (Genevieve Attinger), An Almost Perfect World (Beatrice Bueche), Spontaneous Abstraction (Sheila Frampton-Cooper), and The Color of Life, Sponsored by BERNINA (Barbara Lange).

For a list of all invited artists, go to www.patchwork-europe.com.

Each year the European Patchwork Meeting organizes an international contest on a chosen theme.  The theme for 2015 is "Reflection" based on the double meaning of the word.  Call for entries expires on June 15.  Click here for more information.
