TQS Member, Linda Poole (lindampoole) is a quilt artist, designer, instructor, and author of several books on quilting. She is sharing with us some sweet quilting treats she's collected for her blog. These confections are out of this world and might give you some inspiration if you need to provide dessert at your next small group or guild meeting. You will not believe what these cake decorators can do and you can't gain weight just by looking.

Linda also has a website, www.lindampoole.com, where you can order autographed copies of her books.

Ann describes her quilt as, "Capturing the essence of a courtship song and stroll through the evening plaza, this romantic quilt sings with color and stitches. Hand look digitized embroidery with cotton threads surrounds the center motif with swags of flowers. Guatemalan textiles add richness of texture to the quilt. Hand “big stitch” outer border with thick cotton threads further enhances the rustic, ethnic theme." This was the cover quilt for Quilters’ Newsletter Magazine Feb 2014.

Star Members can watch Ann in Show 2005: Free-Form Collage and Embroidery also featuring Laura Fogg.

Guess who dropped by the set while The Quilt Show was filming in Denver? It was TQS Photo Man, Gregory Case. Gregory has been dealing with some health issues, but looked quite natty in his blue sweater with that twinkle in his eye. He wanted to see what kind of mischief TQS had been up to and seemed pleased with some of the exciting guests coming your way soon.

We were so happy to see you Gregory, but wonder if that Red Vine is really part of a healthy diet plan?...
