We are tired of the expression, "Not Your Grandmother's...," but Susan Cleveland's Dresden Plate designs really blow the "old" Dresden plate idea out of the water. With vibrant colors and hidden details, you'll want to make your own. And soon you'll be able to, as Susan (and her infectious laughter) will be debuting her new show on October 7, 2018.

Enjoy "Fireworks in Funky Town" by Susan Cleveland.

We're not sure what this block is called, but it sure looks like it would create great secondary patterns. What do you think it's called? Play the game and find out.

Becky Goldsmith's quilt, Blue Bullseye, really knocked our socks off when it was hung on the set during our recent tapings. Becky wanted to make a quilt based on this antique design for many years. Now, she has not only made the quilt but written a book, so you can make one too! Trust us, it's simpler than it looks. Becky will also be demoing the technique when her show airs in January 2019. Stay Tuned!

Blue Bullseye, was exhibited at Spring Paducah 2018. Her techniques included Free-Motion Quilting, Foundation Piecing, Paper Piecing, and Machine Piecing. Her Design Source: Bullseye quilt, Glorious American Quilts: The Quilt Collection of the Museum of American Folk Art by Elizabeth V. Warren and Sharon L Eisenstat.

Becky's book will be coming out October 2, 2018.

We will have more with Barbara and the appliqué for the block coming soon.

Patty's quilt, The Bride Work Pink, is all machine pieced and is based on an antique quilt she saw at the International Quilt Study Center & Museum. Patty created her version of the quilt by substituting hexagons for some of the original blocks.
