We are tired of the expression, "Not Your Grandmother's...," but Susan Cleveland's Dresden Plate designs really blow the "old" Dresden plate idea out of the water. With vibrant colors and hidden details, you'll want to make your own. And soon you'll be able to, as Susan (and her infectious laughter) will be debuting her new show on October 7, 2018.

Enjoy "Fireworks in Funky Town" by Susan Cleveland.

Wow! The fussy cutting alone is perfection, but add the other details and Susan's precision, and this is one SPECTACULAR work of art.

Loved all the special Susan Cleveland touches - piping, large stitches and especially, the open ends on the narrow end of the wedge.

Really cool. All the fussy cutting, piping, handwork, not to mention the hours that went in to making this piece. Love seeing fresh, new works.

(Pst, if you don't have something nice to say, keep your criticisms to yourself.)

Have to agree with #6 Kathy. Can't get past the neckties, but fabrics and colors are fun, maybe in a different design.

I hate to say this but all I see are neckties. Maybe they'd read better as fireworks if the background was black and the shapes were in different sizes, just like the real thing. Good idea, just needs some work on the execution.

Even the insides of the fans have the v shape. Nice attention to detail. The insertion of the cording is well done. She could have put that in before she cut the fan shapes- but with the fussy cutting-- wow-- that's too much to think about!
